Position Summary:

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for timely and quality service and repair work of hydraulic systems, pneumatic and electromechanical power systems and other mechanical systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes service and repair work of hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical and other mechanical systems in the shop and in the field. Supervises a team of hydraulic technicians. Sells products that would benefit the customer. Tests systems. Supports startups and field commissions as necessary. Works with business unit manager to develop and grow service business.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong leadership skillset and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics. Good math and reading skills. Skills to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated dependability and ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Industrial experience with hydraulic repairs and systems. Experience with hose fabrication, metal fabrication, tube fabrication, bending and end conditioning. Welding experience, certified in MIG or TIG welding a plus.

Supervisory responsibilities:

Responsible for team of hydraulic technicians while on job sites.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Travel to other RG Group or customer locations often overnight. Both office and manufacturing environments.
