//maverickwellhead.com Field Service Technician Duties / Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks associated with field installation of new wellhead equipment, troubleshoot and service existing wells, maintain and repair field equipment
• Service, assemble, and repair both new and remanufactured equipment
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites in the Northeast and Midwest areas of the US
• Must be able to use computers or laptops for reporting data, controlling assets, reporting hours, completing safety forms, submitting expenses, closing out jobs, etc. back to the front office in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and reports of equipment assembly, testing and maintenance as required
• Act as a sales representative at times for reporting issues from the field, communicating with consultants on coordinating upcoming jobs and selling additional equipment and services on site
• Ability to work independently or with a team in both field and shop environments
• Follow operational and running procedures for all equipment installations and assemblies
• Responsible for organizing and transporting equipment to the field
• Responsible for maintenance, organization and upkeep of all equipment including service truck, torque and testing tools, lubricators, test units, greasing skids, etc.
• Understand and follow all HR, QHSE and Quality Management Policies
• Work in a safe manner in all conditions Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to work in small or confined spaces A willingness to work longer shifts, both day and night on a rotating schedule and on weekends as needed Other duties as assigned or as requested

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Must have 3-5 years oil & natural gas field service tech experience and prefer at least 2 years of wellhead or BOP service tech experience Vocational, technical or military training experience is a plus Current valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the United States Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills Ability to solve problems and think in critical situations Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen upon hiring and randomly. Work Environment Exposure to moving and mechanical components, particles, and fumes Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions as well as varying noise levels

Pay:

$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
