Apartment Turnover Specialist (1099 CONTRACTOR, BAY AREA) Martin Property Maintenance is hiring a 1099 contractor to support unit turnovers for our commercial clients. What You'll Do Get rental properties ready for new tenants by: Painting and drywall patching Updating faucets, sinks, or other hardware Replacing toilets/toilet seats Changing doorknobs and/or locks Installing light fixtures Installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors Windows, general maintenance, and unit turnover Assisting or owning appliance install How It Works You complete jobs assigned by MPM MPM handles client relationships, scheduling, and invoicing Flat hourly rate, paid promptly 10 to 15 hours a week to start, with room for more based on work quality, reliability, and how you interact with clients and tenants You handle your own taxes etc as a 1099 contractor What I Need From You 1 + years of hands-on handyman or multi-trade experience Attention to detail: clean caulk lines, solid patching, careful paint work Professionalism with clients and tenants, even when they're having a bad day Show up when you say you will Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and your own basic tools. I'll provide any specialty tools needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders up to 12 feet Don't meet all the requirements? Please apply anyway!
