Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to perform various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Handy Man, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and functional. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures. Conduct routine inspections to identify issues needing attention. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC. Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical testing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. Document work performed and report any major repairs needed to management. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
