Griswolds Outdoor Lighting - Brighton, MI Project-Based Pay | Strong Earnings for Experienced Installers Griswolds Outdoor Lighting is hiring an experienced 1099 Permanent Lighting Installer / Subcontractor for residential permanent lighting installs in Brighton, Livingston County, and surrounding Southeast Michigan markets . We are not looking for a helper or a crew lead. We are looking for a solid installer who can show up, work efficiently, install cleanly, and take pride in doing the job right. If you have experience with permanent lighting, siding, gutters, this could be a great fit. What This Role Is This is a production-based subcontractor installer role focused on permanent exterior lighting installations on residential homes.

Compensation Project-based install pay Typical earnings work out to roughly $3-$4+ per installed foot equivalent , depending on experience, speed, job complexity, and overall scope Pay is set per completed project/install scope , not hourly Strong earning opportunity for experienced installers who move efficiently and do clean, professional work ($35+/hr) Consistent work available for the right person What You'll Be Doing Installing permanent exterior lighting systems on residential homes Working on ladders and around rooflines, soffits, fascia, gutters, and trim Completing clean, professional installs that match company standards Protecting customer property and keeping job sites clean Communicating clearly with our team about job progress, issues, and completion Handling basic install troubleshooting, adjustments, and punch-list items when needed What We're Looking For Able to work as a 1099 subcontractor Must have your own truck/van Must have your own ladders and install tools Comfortable working on ladders and at heights Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and complete installs efficiently Strong communication and follow-through Pride in clean work and customer-facing professionalism Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Permanent lighting installation Christmas / holiday lighting installation Gemstone, JellyFish, Trimlight, Oelo, or similar lighting systems Roofing, gutters, siding, trim, or exterior construction Low-voltage lighting Other residential exterior service work About Griswolds Outdoor Lighting Griswolds Outdoor Lighting specializes in high-end permanent outdoor lighting installations for residential homes across Southeast Michigan.
