We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our dedicated facilities team. In this vital role, you will ensure the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our hotel properties by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create a comfortable and well-maintained environment that delights our guests and supports smooth daily operations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components. Perform repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, technical manuals, and your mechanical knowledge. Carry out residential painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, welding, and other general handyman tasks to maintain property standards. Use tools such as diagnostic equipment to identify issues with electrical systems. Assist with facilities maintenance projects, including supervising or supporting other team members as needed. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance operations to protect staff and guests. Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings. Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge including plumbing, HVAC systems, welding, and general repair skills. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately. Supervising or leadership experience is advantageous for supporting team efforts. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
