Yellow Springs, OH Flexible Part-Time | Approximately 3-6 hours per week
Compensation:
Starting at $22/hour , based on experience, with opportunities for raises, performance bonuses, and increased responsibilities over time. Blue Dream Vacation Rental is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to help care for our highly rated vacation rental and create exceptional guest experiences. This is not a cleaning position or a handyman position. Professional cleaners and licensed contractors handle those responsibilities. Instead, you'll serve as our local "eyes and ears," helping ensure the property is guest-ready, beautifully maintained, and operating at the high standards our guests expect. Schedule This position averages approximately 3-6 hours per week , depending on guest bookings, seasonal needs, and special projects. Most weeks involve two or more visits to the property . Much of the work can be completed on a flexible schedule. However, on guest turnover days, availability is generally required between approximately 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to ensure the property is fully prepared before arriving guests. What You'll Do Inspect the home after professional cleanings to ensure it is guest-ready. Help create exceptional guest experiences by noticing the details that matter. Clean, test, and maintain the hot tub. Water and care for indoor and outdoor plants. Monitor inventory, restock guest supplies, and communicate inventory needs to the owner. Help protect the property's furnishings, décor, amenities, and equipment by reporting damaged, worn, or missing items. Complete routine preventative property care using detailed maintenance checklists and schedules. Tasks include routine items such as replacing furnace filters, testing smoke detectors, conditioning wood furniture, adding water softener salt, shampooing carpets, taking trash and recycling to and from the curb, and other routine upkeep that keeps the property in excellent condition. Perform routine property inspections and communicate maintenance needs before they become larger issues. Assist with seasonal projects and occasional special tasks that help Blue Dream remain beautiful, well-maintained, and guest-ready. Communicates well and works independently. Has reliable transportation. Has a flexible schedule and is generally available between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM on guest turnover days.
