Lake House Property Caretaker Application Position Title:
Seasonal Property Caretaker /
Estate Assistant Position Overview:
Seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to assist with the maintenance and seasonal preparation of a private lake house property. Responsibilities include outdoor upkeep, coordinating maintenance services, smart home support, and preparing the property for summer and winter seasons.
Responsibilities:
Assist with smart home electronics and basic technology troubleshooting Let in and coordinate maintenance and service providers Organize and schedule property maintenance appointments Prepare property for summer season: Install and set up lake dock Prepare AC systems Window washing and exterior cleaning General outdoor setup Manage seasonal upkeep: Weeding and grounds maintenance Pest control coordination Property appearance and organization Winter responsibilities: Install and remove Christmas lights Prepare property for colder weather
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable with physical outdoor work Basic knowledge of smart home systems and electronics preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Trustworthy and detail-oriented
Preferred Skills:
Experience with property maintenance or landscaping Familiarity with lake dock installation/removal General handyman or troubleshooting abilities Experience coordinating vendors or maintenance services
Pay:
$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
