Mobile Installation Technician (Traveling Contractor 1099)

Job Description Innovative Mobile Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Mobile Installation Technicians for nationwide travel assignments. Technicians will install and service mobile technology equipment on a variety of commercial vehicles including transit buses, first responder vehicles, and tractor trailers. This is a 1099 subcontractor position with strong earning potential for productive technicians. What You'll Do Install mobile technology systems (cameras, GPS, event recorders, signage, fire suppression, and connectivity equipment) Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs Use voltage meters to test electrical systems (AC/DC) Complete job documentation and reporting Maintain a clean and safe work environment Travel to job sites across the country (projects may last several weeks) Requirements Experience in automotive, electrical, or installation work (required) Ability to use hand tools and follow safety standards Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in tight spaces when needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Must provide your own tools (tool list provided) Smartphone required Must pass background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Experience with 12V/24V electrical systems Prior experience installing vehicle electronics or similar equipment Schedule Monday to Friday (Possible Saturday) Day shift (10-hour shifts typical) Must be flexible to work varying shifts based on project needs Additional Information Weekly pay via direct deposit for approved invoices Opportunity for ongoing travel assignments with a growing company Apply Today If you're a skilled technician looking for consistent travel work and strong earning potential, we encourage you to apply.
