Heavy Diesel Equipment MechanicSJ Wiley Construction SJ Wiley Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment and trucks. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues. Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and company vehicles. Repair and maintain excavators, bulldozers, loaders, motor graders, skid steers, dump trucks, water trucks, pickups, and trailers. Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur. Complete service records and maintenance documentation. Respond to field service calls and emergency repairs when needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic software. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics. Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus. Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.
