Equipment Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mid size equipment, some industrial machinery,. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on the equipment such as excavators, forklifts, tractors, and trailers. Utilize schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, transmission, suspension, and engine issues effectively. Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, and to ensure equipment integrity and safety. Operate the machinery safely during maintenance procedures or repairs when necessary. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades using power tools and hand tools; support calibration and alignment processes for precision operations. Support customer service efforts by providing technical guidance on equipment operation or maintenance needs. Skills Proven experience with dealership or equipment repair; familiarity with or OEM parts is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge across farm machinery, construction equipment, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical diagrams; ability to interpret technical manuals accurately. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, assembly work, and use of power tools. Experience operating equipment such as excavators, forklifts Knowledge of tire service procedures and vehicle maintenance practices; ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation; capable of working independently or as part of a team. Pay:
