Job Description

Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? Our well-established construction company, proudly serving the Phoenix metropolitan area for over 30 years, is seeking a skilled and dependable mechanic to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain various types of Caterpillar and John Deere equipment, including but not limited to motor graders, scrapers, tractors, and loaders
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain and repair systems related to hydraulics, transmission, fuel, electrical, cooling and exhaust
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns at job sites, often requiring immediate attention, performing repairs in a challenging environment
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management and tracking of supplies used by maintaining detailed records
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations while operating machinery and handling hazardous materials
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Proficient in operating heavy machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
  • Self starter that is able to work with minimal supervision Please note that this position may require heavy lifting, reaching, climbing, crawling, pushing, and pulling.
Welding experience is a plus. Must have a clean driving record.
