There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. Our training, the Shop Service Technician helps Arnold keep that standing. Essential duties and responsibilities Disassemble, clean, and reassemble all material handling equipment Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize work area for orderliness at all times Perform routine light maintenance on equipment (cleanliness, pre-inspection, etc.) Repairing and maintaining construction equipment Ability to use a forklift and overhead crane to handle and move components and parts during the repair process Measure and identify parts and components for reusability or replacement, ordering new parts as required Use all test and diagnostic equipment available to make adjustments to machines and systems Make warranty recommendations and reports in representation of a prime product Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment, and electric repairs Willingness to help out in other areas of the shop based on workload Qualification requirements High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1-2 yrs previous experience preferred Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills Dependable and Reliable Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane General mechanical knowledge

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
