MANDARIN SPEAKING
Pharmacy Technician for a 4-month contract to support our pharmacy operations in an fast RETAIL setting. Bilingual Chinese is required. This dynamic role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care by assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management. Typing and billing prescription efficiently is
REQUIRED.
The ideal candidate will be able to pay attention to DETAILS, the ability to MULTI-TASKING, strong knowledge of medical terminology, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including typing, contacting insurance etc. Manage medication inventory, including stocking, labeling, and documenting medication supplies accurately Support patient intake processes by verifying prescriptions and updating medication records efficiently Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and ensuring patient care needs are met Able to communicate with other healthcare facilities for insurance issues, medication issues, etc Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely delivery of medications in retail setting Document all pharmacy activities meticulously, including medication dispensing, inventory updates, and incident reports Qualifications Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably within retail/independent pharmacy. Insurance billing and rx typing experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in production and inventory control Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols Knowledge of intake procedures and inventory management within a healthcare setting Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Certification as a pharmacy technician as required by state or regulatory authorities Join our team to play a vital role in delivering safe, effective medication management that enhances patient outcomes.
