Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Truck Repair Mechanic, where your expertise will keep heavy-duty trucks operating at peak performance! In this energized role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial trucks, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency on the road. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the success of our fleet operations, supporting logistics and delivery services across various industries. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of commercial trucks to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns Diagnose problems using specialized tools such as Ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and troubleshoot electrical systems Repair or replace faulty components including brakes, transmissions, engines, and electrical wiring Conduct routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to prevent future breakdowns Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle, documenting repairs performed and parts used Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules Follow safety protocols diligently to create a secure working environment for yourself and others Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in commercial truck repair or similar heavy-duty vehicle maintenance Proficiency with diagnostic tools including Ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Strong understanding of truck systems such as brakes, transmissions, engines, and electrical wiring Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training preferred Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to keeping our fleet moving forward!
