We are looking for a proactive individual with hands-on mechanical experience, a strong work ethic, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical Duties:

Diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment incluing harvesting equipment Perform regular preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot engine issues, hydraulic leaks, electrical faults, and drivetrain components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Ensure all equipment is compliant with safety standards and operational during harvest seasons. Coordinate with management on ordering necessary parts and supplies. Assist in picking up parts and equipment from various vendors as needed. Maintain an inventory of key harvest components and notify upper management when more parts or supplies are needed. Assist with the transportation of equipment throughout harvest utilizing internal and external equipment hauling options. Coordinate with foreman on logistics of harvest

Work Environment :

Work requires being in an outside environment, exposed to the elements; temperatures may reach above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Work exposes workers to subject hazards; including a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts and moving farm equipment. While performing duties of this job workers may be exposed to significant noise and vibration associated with the use of farm equipment.

Pay:

Up to $30.00 per hour
