Compactor Mechanic

Compactor & Baler Mechanic Field Service | Waste & Recycling We are hiring a Compactor & Baler Mechanic to service and repair equipment at customer locations including restaurants, retail stores, apartments, and commercial sites. This is a field-based role with daily travel. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair trash compactors and recycling balers Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) Complete service calls and maintain work orders Communicate with customers on repairs and timelines Qualifications Experience in mechanical, heavy equipment, or industrial repair Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems Welding is a plus Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license required Summary Field mechanic responsible for keeping compactors and balers running safely and efficiently across multiple customer sites.
