Entry Level Technician

North American Fire Hose is currently looking for entry level mechanics to work during the 3rd shift midnight - 7:30 AM. We are looking for candidates with mechanical aptitudes that can be trained to maintain our specialized factory equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing equipment Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of equipment Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs Observe and test the operation of equipment to diagnose malfunctions Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, and/or repairs.

Education, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

Knowledge of hand and power tools Knowledge of metric and SAE nuts and bolts Willingness to work varied shifts and must be able to work weekends Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to read, review, and document daily tasks. Welding experience is not required but is strongly preferred. Electrical experience a plus. Must be able to work without close supervision.
