Summary We are searching for a well-rounded Mechanic to join and support our day-to-day operations. As a Mechanic, you will be a vital team member responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicle fleet trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. With core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and ASE and Cummins Engine Certification required. Join our team and showcase your expertise in a dynamic work environment. Qualifications ASE Certified (Required) 3+ years of fleet experience (Freightliners, Peterbilt, Volvo, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot electrical and fuel systems Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe. Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical components. Complete preventative maintenance (PM's), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used. Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle maintenance and equipment repair. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs. Physical requirements include the ability to: Less than 10% of work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities Greater than 90% of work is accomplished in an open garage facility. Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs, and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. May be asked to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
