WASH RACK TECHNICIAN

Position Purpose:

Wash heavy equipment in preparation for sales, rental, and service to meet our customer needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Clean and detail equipment with a high powered pressure wash system High level of detail and quality of work with high customer satisfaction Moving equipment within the yard, to and from the wash area Must provide wash equipment maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work area Must wear necessary PPE when using wash equipment and follow all safety requirements when operating equipment Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or GED, preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Hard worker with attention to detail Ability to organize and prioritize Ability to work with little or no supervision Certified to operate forklifts and rough terrain forklifts preferred Familiarity with the heavy equipment industry preferred Proficient with general computer usage and smartphone

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, climb equipment steps or ladders, and/or walk around the yard as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Noise level is usually moderate Must work outside and be subject to adverse weather conditions Selected candidates are subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check including MVR and physical.
