Mobile Fleet Mechanic — 1099 Subcontractor (Recurring Fleet Work) Ridgeline Fleet Services Commerce City, CO Job Details Contract $70 - $90 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Diesel mechanics Truck servicing Facilities autonomous maintenance Automotive scheduled maintenance Liability insurance Commercial vehicle Full Job Description Ridgeline Fleet Services runs a managed fleet maintenance program for commercial fleets across the Denver metro — HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, and contractors with 5-20 light vehicles under 14,000 lbs GVW. Fleet owners pay a monthly retainer. We handle client acquisition, scheduling, and billing. You handle the field work. What you'll do: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles at customer locations across the Denver metro. Jobs are dispatched through our mobile platform — you'll have full vehicle history, service details, and customer contact on your phone before you arrive. What we're looking for: 3+ years automotive or fleet maintenance experience DOT certification preferred Your own tools and reliable transportation Commercial general liability insurance (required before first job) Available for evening and weekend service windows — fleet vehicles work during the day Self-directed, reliable, and professional What you get: $70-$90 per vehicle per visit Consistent recurring work on monthly maintenance schedules No client acquisition, no invoicing, no chasing payments — we handle all of it Flexible scheduling around your existing work This is a 1099 subcontractor role.
