Description:
Assists the Theater Manager in the safe operation of the Pinnacle Events Center at Pinnacle Charter School. Provides technical support of performance space for school events and outside organization rentals.Contracted Time:
This position is scheduled on an as-needed basis. There are no set hours weekly. Therefore, contractors choose and accept which events to work. Events are primarily Friday 4:00 pm•10:00 pm, and Saturday/Sunday 8:00 am•10:00 pm.Reporting Relationships:

The budgeted compensation for this contracted role is $22.00•27.00 per hour and is dependent upon experience.Essential Functions:
Set up and operate lighting, audio, and projection systems for various event genres (theater, dance, ensemble music, presentations, etc). Hang, circuit, and focus lighting fixtures. Program basic lighting cues. Conduct soundchecks, mix vocal and instrumental mics, and play audio tracks. Focus projectors, quality control check renters' videos, and execute projection show files. Provide labor for hung and ground-supported scenic elements such as backdrops, flats, set pieces, etc. Use safe theatrical rigging practices. Set up event furniture (tables, chairs, pipe & drape, etc). Sweep and mop backstage areas prior to renter arrival. Install and strike temporary marley dance flooring. Execute technical riders. Be visible and available to assist renters. Monitor venue use. Ensure safe use of venue's equipment. Enforce school district and rental contract policies. Tear down equipment at event conclusion. Store all gear and property appropriately. Alert Theater Manager of any safety concern, equipment service, and/or area for improvement. Under guidance, perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. Liaison with facilities, custodial, and security staff.Other:

Possess a wide range of theatrical systems knowledge across multiple disciplines. Familiarity with ETC Ion, Allen & Heath GL3800, and Midas M32Live. Experience with QLab is a plus. Basic power tools/carpentry skills. Marley floor maintenance. Comfortable working at heights (ladder and scissor lift). Embrace a growth mindset. Strive to advance technical and power skills. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and vision of the school. Maintain a high level of customer service that places people over process. Collaborate and communicate while appreciating the diverse background of individuals. Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills (conflict management and resolution). Achieve regular and timely attendance. Possess a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor. Value safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to Theater Manager.Working Conditions:

Lift/push/pull 25 lbs regularly. Lift/push/pull 50 lbs occasionally.Exposure/Noise Level:
Regular exposure to moderate noise level. Occasional exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and outdoor weather conditions. Occasional dusty and dirty conditions. Frequent low-light and dark environments.Mental Functions:
