This position is ideal for a highly skilled mechanic who can work independently and help keep our fleet operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and construction equipment Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ensure fleet compliance with state and federal regulations Maintain accurate service and repair records Support safe and reliable daily fleet operations Qualifications Strong experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems required Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently Valid driver's license required CDL or equipment experience is a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Pay & Benefits $35.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience Overtime available Company truck and fuel card provided following a successful 60-day performance review 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off About Atlas Outdoor Atlas Outdoor specializes in residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and security fencing projects throughout Connecticut and beyond.
