Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling, reassembling, fabricating, sanding, sandblasting, bagging, polishing various types of big rigs and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently. Positions starting at $15/hr and increase based on qualifications, skills, and work ethic. Yearly raises and bonuses based on performance with paid time off paid sick days available.Duties:
- Use power tools and hand tools to repair, assemble, and disassemble machinery
- Sand trucks with DA and by hand
- Bag up trucks to prepare for paint
- Sandblasting equipment
- preforming bodywork
Requirements:
- Need to have a basic knowledge about tools and what situations to use them in
- Previous experience in automotive repair or equipment maintenance is preferred but not required
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic automotive electrical knowledge is desired
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail We offer pay based on experience.
