Job Description

Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced heavy equipment mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining heavy equipment at our main headquarters in Fort Pierce.
Requirements:
License:
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A.
Driving Record:
Must have a clean driving record with no recent accidents, tickets, or disqualifying violations.
Experience:
2+ years of experience Heavy Equipment maintenance. Preferably 2+ years of experience operating commercial vehicles. Knowledge of handling various types of cargo and understanding of load securement. Knowledge and operation of heavy equipment, such as Skid Loader, Mini Excavator and Wheel Loader.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs for loading/unloading if required. Technical certification in heavy equipment mechanics preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools. Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules. Basic maintenance knowledge for vehicle checks and reporting issues. Good written and verbal communication skills for logging and customer interaction.
Availability:
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
Other:
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug and alcohol tests per DOT regulations. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
