Please note:
A start date, for candidates selected, will be determined after obtaining Special Program Access (SAP). In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks that will be done in a Mechanical fabrication and assembly area. Working with a team or individually in a fast-paced R D fabrication environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Maintaining the Fabrication space including 5's and tool control. Assembling and building details and sub-assemblies. Supporting development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical systems. Performs part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. Measures parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. Conducting routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and developmental engineering tasks. Performing operational tests to ensure conformance with design specifications. Diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to the component level. Conducting engineering tests and collecting data. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Aligns parts on jigs using templates and fixtures. Devices, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Adhere to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines and regulations Work and communicate over ambient noise Work in a variety of work spaces/positions. Work spaces may include but are not limited to small, enclosed spaces, awkward, and elevated spaces. Positions may include bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, ascending/descending ladders, and/or working overhead. Work flexible, changing shifts, including weekends Travel (domestically) up to 10% of the time to support other locations as the business requires We offer flexible work arrangements, 4/10 work schedule (6:00 am to 4:30 pm) with every Friday or Monday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. This requisition may be filled at a Mechanical Technician- Level 2 OR Mechanical Technician
- Level 3 based on the relevant experience required for each role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency with CPLM and NX Knowledge of schematic diagrams and other engineering documentation. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly Experience in sheet metal processes such as riveting, drilling, countersinking, and using a routerWhat We Offer:

Primary Level Salary Range:
$48,400.00- $80,600.
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$57,500.00- $95,900.
