As a Shop Technician, you'll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.
Requirements :
High School diploma or equivalent, Trade school certificate preferred Must be 18 years old or older due to hazardous position Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred Must own tools applicable to position and be able to bring them to work-site due to nature of job (employer does not provide tools of the trade) Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools applicable to position Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams Customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills due to nature of job Ability to be subjected to on-call scheduling (additional compensation provided) Employer conducts Drug Screening Ability to move, stand, stoop and bend freely Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Responsibilities :
Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred) Year-round company provided OEM training Other duties, assigned as needed
Work Schedule :
Full-Time (overtime pay after 40 hours) Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
