The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment providing exceptional service to our clients, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including diesel engines and generators. Conduct diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Execute welding and soldering tasks as needed to repair components. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and the status of repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in generator repair techniques. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in generator repair and maintenance. Proficiency in welding and soldering techniques. Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is preferred. Ability to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Familiarity with generator repair and diesel engine systems is a must. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. CAT and/or Cummins certified EGSA Journeyman certified Familiar with NFPA-99 and NFPA-70 is a big plus.
