This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with complex machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and safety across diverse job sites. As a vital part of our field operations, you'll be empowered to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues swiftly, keeping projects on track and clients satisfied. Your proactive approach and technical skills will make a tangible impact every day! Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of field equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems with precision and care. Determine when machines need to be brought to the shop for further repair. Document all maintenance activities accurately, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each task. Collaborate with project managers and team members to prioritize repairs and coordinate field service schedules. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Field Mechanic or similar role working with industrial or construction equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Basic computer skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Cummins Insite and Jaltest. Ability to read and understand parts manuals, electrical schematics, and hydraulic schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance. Valid driver's license B with a clean driving record; ability to travel frequently to various job sites. Embark on a career where your mechanical expertise fuels operational success!
