Position Overview PMF is seeking a Technical Support Technician to support our automated hay bundling equipment. This role combines mechanical repair and refurbishment with customer-focused technical support. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can explain technical solutions clearly, and takes pride in helping customers succeed. Key Responsibilities Repair, service, and refurbish automated hay bundling machines Provide phone-based technical support, including troubleshooting and parts recommendations Assist customers in a friendly, professional, solutions-oriented manner Support parts picking, staging, and order fulfillment Operate a forklift to move equipment and materials as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Skills & Qualifications Forklift experience preferred Basic welding knowledge Strong mechanical aptitude and general tool knowledge Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend effective solutions Clear and professional communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge & Experience Experience with agricultural equipment or mechanical systems strongly preferred Familiarity with parts identification and inventory systems Basic understanding of equipment repair, maintenance, and refurbishment processes Ability to Implement Hands-on problem solver who can think critically and adapt quickly Comfortable assisting customers by phone and in person while explaining technical information clearly Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges within the role Benefits Competitive pay based on competency 100% employer-paid health insurance and HSA for employees Flexible paid time off and holidays 401(k) with employer matching Discretionary bonuses Apply & Join Our Team We are excited to welcome new talent to our team!
