• Alexandria, IN Parrs Enterprises is looking for a dependable, hands-on Systems Floater / Mechanic to support our daily operations across the board.

This is a versatile role for someone who can step in wherever needed—whether that's in the office, around the shop, or out on a job site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and service company fleet (trucks, trailers, and equipment) Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep everything job-ready Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, inspections, etc.) Assist in the shop with organization, inventory, and general upkeep Support field crews on job sites as needed Help with basic office or operational tasks when required Safely operate trucks and pull trailers to transport equipment/materials

Requirements:

Experience with mechanical repairs (diesel/gas trucks, trailers, small equipment) Valid driver's license with ability to drive truck & trailer Strong work ethic and willingness to jump in wherever needed Ability to work independently and problem-solve Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and shop safety Plumbing or construction knowledge is a plus
