Field Service Technician - Contractor

This individual is primarily responsible for facilitating the installation of Hercules equipment at customer's facilities throughout the United States. The individual must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with the customer to coordinate the delivery and installation. Individual must have competent mechanical ability using all types of hand tools and be capable of following detailed instructions. Individual must be willing to travel on average 2-3 weeks of the month. This could be 1-5 day projects at a time. Most importantly, the individual must be customer-focused and ensure the customer is 100% satisfied at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver and install Hercules equipment at customer's facilities (typically acute care hospitals across the United States) Collaborate with the customer in the planning and scheduling of the delivery and installation Arrange for all product delivery logistics Optimize the customer experience of the delivery and installation by exhibiting the utmost professionalism in all aspects of customer service at all times Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with our equipment in a clinical or field setting Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in compliance and functioning optimally. Maintain detailed Service Records

EDUCATION & REQUISITE SKILLS

High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) - Associate degree preferable Excellent communication skills 100% customer focused Demonstrated experience in a technical, mechanical hands-on environment Demonstrated experience in a customer service role Demonstrated experience in a self-sufficient role (e.g. on the road by themselves) No significant driving infractions Willingness to travel

Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
