You will leverage your expertise in advanced diagnostics and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize the reliability of our transportation assets. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently. Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure fleet longevity and peak performance. Maintain rigorous quality control standards by documenting all service activities and verifying repair accuracy. Uphold strict safety and compliance protocols to ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and operational requirements. Collaborate with the maintenance team to streamline service workflows and improve overall shop productivity. Utilize specialized diagnostic software and hand tools to resolve complex engine and drivetrain malfunctions. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience as a professional diesel or heavy-duty mechanic. Strong proficiency in engine diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry regulations. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports. Preferred Skills ASE certification or equivalent technical training in heavy vehicle repair. Experience working with modern fleet management or telematics systems. Advanced knowledge of emission control systems and aftertreatment diagnostics.
