In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our operations, providing top-notch service to our clients. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and develop effective solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services. This is a 1099 position and requires that you utilize your own mode of transportation to service calls. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in vehicle maintenance, including diagnostics, repairs, and preventative care. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
