Mobile Equipment Operator 1/Heavy

OVERVIEW OF THIS ROLE

This position provides physical effort to accomplish a variety of manual tasks and advanced-level equipment operation. Operates mobile equipment to accomplish transportation, maintenance or construction tasks. Two years of experience in mobile equipment operations. Job Duties:

Operates heavy motorized equipment including, but not limited: dozers, tandem dump trucks, loaders, bobcats, backhoes, excavators, mulchers, graders and other specialized equipment to support a variety of operations under the jurisdiction of the Authority, etc. Assists mechanic with minor repairs to equipment as required, including disassembling and reassembling parts, lubricating and fueling equipment. etc. Performs a wide variety of physical labor functions, such as moving, loading and unloading materials, supplies and equipment. Operates motorized equipment including 15' grass cutting tractors, mott tractors, other motorized equipment to support operations under the jurisdiction of the Authority, etc.

Compensation:
