Hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Local Tree Company Bellingham, MA Competitive Pay Based on Experience Full-Time Position Immediate Opening About the Position Well-established local tree company serving Massachusetts & parts of Rhode Island for over 30 years is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We operate a busy fleet of trucks and specialized equipment and are looking for someone reliable, motivated, and experienced to help keep our operation running smoothly and safely. Equipment You'll Be Working On Bucket trucks Chippers Skidders Stump grinders CDL trucks & trailers Hydraulic equipment Small engine equipment Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Troubleshoot air brake systems and heavy equipment Keep equipment maintained, dependable, and job-ready Handle breakdowns and priority repairs in a timely manner Maintain an organized shop and accurate service records Work alongside operations and field crews to minimize downtime Qualifications Experience working on trucks and heavy equipment Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently CDL license is a plus, but not required Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to safety What We Offer ✔ Year-round, steady work ✔ Overtime opportunities ✔ Diverse fleet and variety of equipment ✔ Fast-paced work environment with no two days the same

Pay:

$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
