Generator Technician

Position Overview:

We have an immediate opening for a Road Service Technician. This role involves maintaining and servicing diesel, gasoline, and gaseous engines, generators, and associated controls from all major generator manufacturers. Knowledge of engine-driven alternators and automatic transfer switches is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position requires significant customer interaction, so excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on diesel, gasoline, and gaseous engines and generators. Service and maintain associated controls of all generator manufacturers. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure efficient operation. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate solutions effectively. Maintain accurate records of service and repairs. Comply with all safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Knowledge of engine-driven alternators and auto transfer switches is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer relation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Clean driving record with a valid driver's license. Physical capability to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
