Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver and take charge of delivering essential materials and equipment with energy and precision! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of specialized trucks, including, lowboy trailers, landoll trailers, manual transmission tractors, rollback, and flatbeds. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure safe, efficient deliveries while supporting our commitment to outstanding service. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual techniques or mechanical aids, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transit. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, leveraging your mechanical knowledge. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when loading or unloading materials to ensure safety and efficiency. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records in compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with sufficient experience operating heavy trucks such as tractor-trailers, heavy duty rollbacks, lowboy trailer, landoll trailer, etc General knowledge of the DMV area. Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery operations with a strong safety record. Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues on the road. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during load & unload procedures using manual effort or mechanical equipment. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
