Full-time Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic that is skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Join our team as a heavy equipment mechanic at the Stone group of companies. We are seeking a talented individual who can maintain and repair various types of heavy equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Position:
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity. Conduct thorough inspections to identify faults and malfunctions using diagnostic tools and manuals. Follow safety guidelines and procedures while repairing heavy equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs and efficiently manage workload. Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or in a similar role. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and best practices. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in troubleshooting heavy machinery. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to obtain safety certifications /Able to obtain a TWIC card Ability to work in various weather conditions.
