Job Description

LIO Mobility LLC is an established medical equipment sales and service company dedicated to providing life-changing solutions for individuals with mobility needs. We are looking for a hardworking, independent Ramp Installation Assistant to join our team for the upcoming season. In this role, your primary focus will be assembling and installing aluminum modular ramps , . This is a fast-paced, outdoor-heavy position that runs immediately through November (weather permitting). If you have a servant's heart, a strong work ethic, and love working with your hands out in the beautiful UP elements, we want to hear from you!
Note:
While this is currently a seasonal, part-time role, there is strong potential to transition into a permanent, Full-Time position in the future depending on workload, performance, and your interest.
What You'll Do Install & Assemble:
Efficiently install aluminum modular ramps at customer sites.
Travel Daily:
Ride to various customer locations.
Problem Solve:
Assist in assessing site conditions on the fly to ensure safe, secure, and precise installations.
Deliver Care:
Interact compassionately with customers, ensuring they understand how to safely use their new equipment.
Requirements Education & Licenses:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and have reliable transportation to the main job site.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Good hand-eye coordination and general mechanical aptitude (we will teach you the specific ramp systems!).
Tool Proficiency:
Proficient with standard hand and power tools (sockets, wrenches, drills).
Note:
All necessary tools and equipment will be provided by the company.
Interpersonal Skills:
Naturally gifted communicator who is organized, polite, and comfortable working independently.
Team Mindset:
Willing to lift boxes, clean up installation sites, and do what it takes to leave a customer's home better than you found it.
Attitude:
Believes in working hard, helping people, and having fun! Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of an Android or iOS tablet for digital paperwork/dispatching. Previous experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or general handiwork is a major plus. Physical Requirements Routine walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing on various outdoor terrains.
Heavy Lifting:
Must frequently lift, lower, carry, push, or pull 1 to 55 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds (modular ramp sections can be heavy). Comfortable working outdoors in fluctuating seasonal UP weather conditions.
