Light Mechanic

DR Trailer Sales has an immediate opportunity for a Trailer Mechanic. We are looking for experienced Trailer Tech / Mechanic who knows common repairs on trailers such as wiring, brakes, preventive maintenance and light welding. This position will focus on meeting and maintaining our customers' expectations as well as maintaining their equipment up to DOT standards. Pay based on experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-5 yrs trailer mechanic experience. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and parts. Must work safely and maintain a safe workplace environment. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Meets daily with Service Manager, Shift Supervisor and/or other operations personnel to discuss days service operations. Fills out repair orders. Turns in paperwork Common repairs and required preventive maintenance of trailers. Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment. Must be able to complete the minimum of 8 hours of billable work DAILY. (enough work will be provided to make this task very achievable) Other duties may be assigned
