Job Description

Job Overview Join our team as a Road & Bridge Crewman and be at the forefront of constructing and maintaining vital infrastructure. You will operate heavy equipment, assist with projects, and support the development of safe, durable roads and bridges. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating heavy equipment, hold a Class A CDL license or be willing to obtain such license, welding experience, assisting in bridge repairs, installing tubes, work well with others, have the ability to lift to 70 lbs. Perform daily inspection on trucks & Equipment. Compensation will be based on experience, starting at a minimum of $37,440 to $43,000 ($18.00hr to $21.00hr). Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including Excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, to perform excavation, grading, and material movement tasks efficiently. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting any repairs needed to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety guidelines diligently while working on-site to promote a secure work environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks on schedule while adhering to quality standards. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavator, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Technical proficiency with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable. Basic understanding of construction site safety regulations and practices.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
