RENTAL SHOP TECHNICIAN

• Earth City, MO At Raymond Central, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company.

We are looking for a Rental Shop Technician to support forklift maintenance on our rental and renewed fleet in the Earth City area. • This is a full time, hourly position.

Some overtime may be required based on customer demands.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, service and support rental and used equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met. Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer's facility. Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management. Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required. Work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers. Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately. Keep work area clean and safe at all times. Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required. Maintain uniforms to always look neat and professional. Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position. Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service. Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer's specifications
• Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15' to 30' in height #RCTECH
