We are looking for a Powder Coating Technician to help support that mission. Due to invisible electromagnetic fields associated with equipment used, any carrier of a pacemaker must avoid this particular work area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup and operate spray guns and ovens Mask parts according to prints Monitor parts throughout the baking cycle Inspect components after coating for quality Package product in an efficient manner Communicate effectively with team members and management Maintain a clean and safe work environment Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Training & Professional Development Positive and productive work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent Experience in powder coating environment is a plus, but not required Forklift experience preferred Ability to wear a respirator Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred Must be detail oriented
WORK CONDITIONS
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
