We're looking for a hands-on Equipment Repair Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, rebuilding, and keeping industrial equipment running at peak performance. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair lift equipment and machinery according to established procedures and work instructions Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly and disassembly tasks Conduct preventive maintenance and routine equipment servicing Use diagnostic software, laptops, gauges, and testing instruments to identify equipment faults Operate equipment as needed to verify repairs and diagnose performance issues Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, schematics, and build documentation Assemble and disassemble machine components to manufacturer specifications using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized equipment Coordinate with supervisors and supply chain personnel to obtain needed parts and materials Load and unload equipment and components as required Escalate complex repair issues to supervisors or support personnel when necessary Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and departmental policies Production Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial, mobile, or heavy equipment Ability to use diagnostic tools, software, gauges, and testing equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and basic schematics Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills Experience repairing lifts or similar industrial/mobile equipment preferred Forklift experience or certification preferred Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, oils, grease, and varying temperatures Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety-toe footwear and safety glasses Stand, walk, and climb approximately 90% of the workday Sit approximately 10% of the workday Frequent use of hands and tools to perform repairs and maintenance Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to communicate effectively and work safely around industrial equipment Complete a drug screen and criminal background check IND061 QPS
