Technician Job Description Join our team as a Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Utilize computerized tools and equipment to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, and assist with yard duties when maintenance work is complete. Responsibilities Perform preventative and basic maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using computerized tools and equipment. Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks including cleaning and lubricating parts. Disassemble and reassemble major components such as engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Maintain logs detailing equipment condition and work performed. Provide assistance in the yard when maintenance tasks are up to date. Essential Skills Experience as a mechanic with a focus on trailers, large trucks, heavy equipment, or diesel engines for at least 6 months. Proficiency in auto tech and mechanical systems. Expect to be engaged in diverse tasks across different settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
