Job Description
Do you live in Raleigh or wanting to move to Raleigh? Gpac is working with a long-standing client who is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join a strong team servicing construction and heavy equipment in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and getting equipment back up and running on-site.

Duties:
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems Perform preventative maintenance and field repairs on excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot equipment issues Complete service documentation and work orders Operate a service truck and travel to customer job sites Communicate directly with customers regarding repairs and equipment statusRequirements:
3+ years of heavy equipment repair experience Strong background in diesel, hydraulics, electrical, and diagnostics Ability to read schematics and technical manuals Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field Good communication and organizational skills CDL or ability to obtain one is a plus Full benefits package includes: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401k with company match PTO and Paid Holidays $38-$50/hr Great opportunity for a technician who wants long-term stability, strong support, and a company that values skilled field mechanics.
