Tool Room Attendant (Construction) System One - 3.5 Charlotte, NC Job Details Full-time $16 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Inventory data entry Logistics management Computer literacy Attention to detail Logistics inventory management Inventory tracking Full Job Description System One is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Tool Room Attendant to support our client on a high-profile construction project ( Siemens Plant ) in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be the central hub of the job site's logistics, managing the daily check-in/out process of commercial electrical tools and equipment. Stationed in a dedicated on-site tool trailer/shed, you will ensure field crews and supervision have immediate, organized access to the gear they need to keep the project moving safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities Daily Tracking:
Manage the digital/physical check-in and check-out process of all company tools and specialized electrical equipment for field crews.
Supervision Reporting:
Act as the eyes and ears of the tool shed; immediately log and report any broken, worn, or unreturned tools directly to the project Superintendent.
Site Interaction:
Maintain an organized, efficient window service to ensure craft workers get the tools they need quickly, minimizing project downtime.
Inventory Control:
Ensure the tool room is kept clean, labeled, secure, and organized at all times so inventory counts remain accurate.
Qualifications:
Basic computer or tablet literacy is required to operate inventory logging software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain order in a high-volume setting. Prior experience in a construction setting is highly preferred but not required. Requirements Must be able to pass a drug screen / background check. Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site daily.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
