Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician Level II or III to join our team to support our off road heavy equipment shop. This role will involve maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment including Dozers, Loaders, Excavators, Pumps, and more, primarily from top brands like CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Rokbak, and Hitachi located in Butner, NC.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems. Utilize

CAT ET, CAT

Vision Link, JD Link, and other diagnostic software for troubleshooting and repairs. This includes after treatment, fuel systems diagnostics and computer programming. Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all work performed. Ensure all equipment is serviced and repaired in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

3-7 years of experience working on heavy equipment (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Rokbak, Hitachi).

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, Caterpillar, John Deere, etc.) are highly desirable.

Education:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Certificate or Degree program from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

Hydraulic Experience:

Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and repair.

A/C Experience:

Experience in repairing and maintaining A/C systems in heavy equipment.

Welding Experience:

Ability to perform basic welding repairs as needed.

Diagnostic Software Proficiency:

CAT ET, CAT

Vision Link, JD Link, and other diagnostic tools.

License:

Current North Carolina Driver's License required; A valid CDL is preferred.

Benefits:

Hourly Pay:

$25-40 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly.

Work Schedule:

50-60 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturdays as needed. 401

K:

4% company match, eligible after 6 months

Uniforms:

Paid uniforms provided.

Boot Program:

$250 allowance provided annually

Tool Allowance:

Tool allowance provided monthly
