This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company committed to innovation, quality, safety, and customer support within the heavy equipment industry. We are dedicated to supporting our customers through responsive service, technical expertise, and continuous improvement. As a Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting a wide range of heavy and utility equipment while helping expand LGMG's service capabilities across North America. Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all LGMG safety policies, procedures, and workplace standards
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on MEWP equipment, telehandlers, and a wide range of construction equipment
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and current technology to support daily service functions
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and support personnel
  • Complete required technical training and participate in ongoing professional development
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy equipment, utility equipment, or similar machinery
  • Technician is required to supply and maintain their own basic mechanical tool set
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience working with Genie, JLG, and LGMG equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Aerial Work Platform (AWP) equipment
  • Fluid Power Society certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Physical & Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
  • Ability to climb ladders and work over and under equipment
  • Comfortable working at heights
